Literrally translates as ‘Cotton Castle’. Evolved over the millennia and from calcium mineral deposits, this spectacle of water filled formations is unmatched anywhere else in the world. Attributed with therapeutic cotton properties, the water is reputed to be beneficial to eyes and to alleviate rheumatism, asthma and some skin ailments. Bathe in one of the thermal pools or simply stand at the top of Pamukkale and absorb the magnificent view.
